You are invited to celebrate something special with me (us). For 15 years, this art walk is a passion I have given my heart to. This year, we will have a celebratory toast, in recognition of our 15th year anniversary, at 4:00 pm on Friday, November 6th both in the Monroe building (Ambrose, Dawdy, Goetzinger, and Little) and the Eaton's space on Center.
My show is called, "Words AND Pictures." The show will depict a snapshot of my life this last year. Each year's show is uniquely special as the art that is created and shown is birthed out of my wrestling with life's challenges and embracing life's joys.
Friday's hours are 4-9 pm and on Saturday from 9-1 pm. Saturday we will serve coffee and sweets.
Our studios are located within two buildings at 411 N Center Street and 101 West Monroe Street, which is the reason for the name--Around the Corner Art Walk. We are a diverse group of five artists which includes me, Angel Ambrose, Darin Dawdy, Herb Eaton, Joann Goetzinger and Jeff Little. Each artist has their own individual art style and we offer art from painting to sculpture.
Come meet and talk with us. You will get a glimpse of our studios where we work and have the opportunity to purchase artwork. All five of of us offer a one-time 15% OFF of original art & sculpture on Friday and Saturday to celebrate our anniversary.
The ACAG will be participating in the First Friday Autumn Art walk which includes over 100 local artists at 15+ studios and galleries in downtown Bloomington. The AUTUMN ART WALK continues to grow and brings new visitors and art patrons to Bloomington’s Historic Downtown.
