Downtown Bloomington's Tour de Chocolat' 2017

One of our favorite events in historic Downtown Bloomington is the Tour de Chocolat'. Our Downtown Bloomington Association and partners host this all downtown event.

Every studio, gallery, and business open will provide free chocolate to sample on Friday, February 3rd, from 5-8pm.

I am excited to once again, have Don McCormick, Pastry Chef and Artist, in my studio for the event. Don worked at Disney for three years, and several years ago, he turned my studio into a Willy Wonka experience. Don makes amazing works of art, using chocolate and colored cocoa butter (yes edible) to paint his works of art. And, he promises something delicious to sample.

2013 Don made a fabulous, edible 3-D painting, that we all got to sample at the end of the night.

I will have some goodies to share as well: chocolate punch and white chocolate raspberry cream cheese, made with my mother-in-law's homemade preserves.

Don and I have worked together several times and once we collaborated on a project: he made one of my works of art out of chocolate! I still use the piece of art to share with school tours.
