Five Minute Art 12-28-2015

Today's five minute art inspired by today's ice storm.

All morning, I had been peering out the back door, safely on the warm side, at the amazing beauty developing outside around our home. Tempted beyond reason, I opened my back patio door to catch this shot amidst freezing rain and frigid wind.

Even the ice cannot deny the colors of summer.

But the remnants in ice do tell, I left the last of summer's bounty unattended. From intentional abandonment to intentional focus; beauty in the midst of a December storm.

Five Minute Art is something you create in about five minutes. The inspiration comes from something you see or conceive then make an art piece of it. You can do this when waiting in line, taking a walk, or simply need a creative outlet . . . then share it with someone.
